See, now I miss my kitty. Hes living in Calgary with a friend of ours since he didn't' take well to the move out here. So I have a dumb cat named TC who has recently figured out he likes attention after 5 years of life. Well, its about time. He does the five thirty prance across my dad's back and you can sometimes hear him connecting with the bathroom wall. I feel bad, but it's five thirty in the morning....
Nah, my dog is a cuddler. But he's got this drool thing going on and I have to wonder if he knows I'm in my work clothes when he decides to slime me just before I'm about to leave. Thank god I talked the boss into jeans...
speaking of pets, my roommate wants me.
See ya in the funny papers!!!

Tens....LMAO at your whole post!!! My older cat is 4 and aside from the middle of the night lovins he has also decided apparently that he, too, after all this time actually ENJOYS lovins almost all the time. He has his routines, tho.....if you lay on the bed you must give me lovins....if you get up to go to the bathroom i will follow you there and you must give me lovins.....if you wake to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night i will require lovins in the bathroom and then when you get back into bed....but if you go in the bathroom i assume you must be about to shower even if you go in there 30 times a day and i want you to turn on the magic fountain so i can drink from it.... My cats like water.....from everything EXCEPT their water bowl!

Well, it looks like the Random Stupidness topic is back. So rejoice.
And for the Randomly stupid bit today - Shaw Cable. They do cable just fine, but watch out for internet and phone. I makes no sense that they would advertize these serices when the cannot provide them with any bit of quality, but hey. Anyone else have a pet peeve like that?

I have a pet peeve with my cable doing stupid things....we have digital cable and sometimes every channel just drags....I can't describe it but the sound is almost like a record skipping (I'm pretty sure SOME of you know what that is! lol)....and of course, the channel that plays the re-runs of CSI always screws up.

I hate when the digital picture goes all test patterny.
It looks like it's frozen in mid scene, and that drives me crazy looking at those little coloured squares all over the picture.

I'm right with you, Des. I don't watch a ton of TV other than late night shows usually, but there's nothing worse than sitting down to a show you've been looking forward to, and then it keeps freezing on pixelated screens. Our cable (Comcast) was having problems with it for a bit, a while back, but they seem to be doing better now.

Sky does this all the time in the UK, particularly during bad weather. What isn't fun as well is waking up, going to turn on the news and just having a green screen so having to unplug and re-plug the box. Still, I don't watch that much TV so it isn't too bad. Another Illusion

I have the attention span of a neurotic fly, so television is more or less just background noise for me.
-laughing-
It's a way of drowning out the boys when they're fighting, too.

I do that alot. TV is like company. Just there to fill the space. It's always on but I'm hardly ever watching it!
Like right now, for instance, I have The Outsiders on while getting my computer stuff done and doing laundry. I will be taking a nap in a few, though and will start it over then.

I have Spongebob on while I'm writing.

Hope it doesn't go into my subconscious.

My cat will have no part of sleeping in the bed with any of us. She sleeps on the steps or in the livingroom... and she won't drink from her water dish. We have to turn the faucet in the bathtub on for her. She's so funny.

We have two black cats and a black lab. The boys seem to be interested only in pets that are black.
I hate cats, so naturally they are all over me at any given time. Cats seem to know when you don't like them, and they want to try to make you like them.

I hate cats too, Des. It seems like they want you to like them so they can snub you and pretend you don't exist other than to provide food.

I totally agree, Zick. Cats won't even come when you call them by name. That irritates me. And when they sit and stare at you makes me ill.
Even my spider comes when it hears my footsteps on the floor. But not the cats. They wait for me to sit down somewhere and then they want to wind around my legs and try to climb all over me.
I hate having hairs on my cloths----it drives me nuts.
