I use the same name everywhere that I can because I just would not remember otherwise, haha.
Is mars_on_fire in reference to anything?

Mine is Queen Jane Approximately, just like this, except on here it wouldn't fit the whole thing. D :

Same as here. Named for my favourite car - '57 Fairlane 500. I love that car! Ever since I saw one in The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. I think that one might have been a '58, though. But it is a really nice car. :)

Mine is Hairibo, which I have been sharing with Rock since we were 15 or 16 (?). It's been a long time, or so it's felt, haha. Ours stems from the European gummy bear brand Haribo, which we mistakenly spelt as Hairibo. Didn't catch the mistake for a while, but we like it all the same and never did want to change it. It's different and original.

Oh, I forgot to add the meaning of my pen name. It's the title of a Bob Dylan song -- one of my favorites, actually. I can never decide which one is my favorite but I think Queen Jane makes an awesome username. :)

Definitely. My username has a meaning. Or, rather, it HAD a meaning when I thought it up. If only I could remember it...

Mine's the same - Maxiekat.
When I moved into my apartment five years ago I got a cat named Max (short for Maximus). He was such a cool cat - very sweet and was constantly at my side. Sadly, he had a heart defect that wasn't caught until it was too late. I have two other cats right now - Sam and Jesse. They're great, but Max will always be my baby. Wow, that was really depressing - sorry.

Well, I go by Tensleep pretty much everywhere except fictionpress where I am Sonah.
I got the nickname after I was compared to my favorite character in my favorite western novel. Tensleep was an outlaw who was basically the babysitter and sly smiler. He seemed to know pretty well everything about everything and had my strange sense of humor. Not to mention we're both stubborn and don't listen worth anything....
Man, I need better rolemodels...
But anyways, it worked for a penname once I found out all my other nicknames were taken.
See ya in the funny papers!!!

Mine's the same here and there. My husband (Rich) and I lived in State College, PA, for almost ten years, where he got his master's and Ph.D. degrees and I got my masters from Penn State University. The mascot there is the Nittany Lion, referring to the mountain lions that used to inhabit nearby Nittany Mountain. Well, if you've ever been to State College, you've noticed that every other anything out there is named Nittany SomethingOrOther (or SomethingOrOther Lion, haha, we lived at Lion's Gate apartments). My name is Liz, and one of Rich's former roommates used to call me Lizard (what can I say, I like reptiles, and my roommates didn't, so my green iguana lived in Rich's apartment). So now that I've bored you with the details, that's where my name comes from. And Maxikat, I'm so sorry about your kitty . That's good that you got a couple more, though.

Nittanylizard - Aw, thanks for that. It's been a couple of years, but I still miss him. BTW - I live near Philly and we go through Penn State stuff like crazy at my bookstore.
