I'll be in South Carolina for November 15, 16th and 17th...which is Wed. Thurs and Fri. so I miss three days of school! Its a 12-hour-drive though. And I'll be in another state for a weekend in may...I just don't know which one!

texaskid here and on fanfic.net and quizilla.com for two reasons really.

I moved to Ohio when my dad retired and my brother and i had strong texan accents call us big tex and lil' tex (my brother being big tex).

and for the fact that when i came up with it i'll always be a kid from texas at heart.

Um, I'm kind of late, but whatever...

I'm Sharpshooter for a couple of reasons; First, the name just sounds cool -I'm a neird, huh?-, I'm a fanatic over military history and in about every war I've read about up 'till Korea, the snipers were reffered to as sharpshooters. When I first came up with the penname those were the only reasons, but recently I've started going to the Rifle and Pistol club, and I've discovered I'm quite the shot, so everyones been calling me Sharpshooter now.

Interesting, no?

- Byt he way, I'm really jealous of you people who live close to each other! An Outsiders convention would be really cool though, especially if we got some original fans of the book to come. -y'know, the ones who are like 50 years old now?-

I am in total agreement on that! I'm all alone up here in Canada it seems - well, at least in Cowboy country. No one around here knows anything about gangs since none of them lived in the inner city rings, so no one gets interested in books about gangs. So sad. I mean, I have to go to New York of all places for people to actually know what the hell I'm talking about.

As for the whole convention thing, we should plan one. I mean, hell, why not? Next summer, Vegas. We'll stay in a shitty place off the strip and rent a ballroom somewhere. Then we'd all get together and talk about stuff...I guess. I dunno. I plan on poker the whole time. You people make up the rest.
