It is far too quiet around here! I know, not much we really have left to talk about since we really are tenacious when it comes to getting to the root of everything - bad writers we are for that!
So Shout out! How's everyone doing? News? Interesting facts? C'mon and share already!
I'll start. Not much to report. Got my drinking done on Monday, got my Internet back on Tuesday after noon. Damn Shaw...
I'm going home for Easter. Who's got Easter plans? My dad bought a Ham and plans scalloped potatoes, so I'll go home for that. Not to mention birthday presents. I can so deal with that. And more cake. Who doesn't love cake? I like Angel Food and anything with Pistachio icing.
Ok, I'm babbling. Your turn. And man...I had a lot of spelling mistakes...oh well.

I get to sit down and write as long of a paper as I can manage in the next couple of days which is exciting... er, wait. Not exciting, but really sucky, I should say. It's my own fault for putting it off for two months though *nods*.
I have another guitar lesson today, which is the first one in two weeks since we had Spring Break last week. I don't know how pleased my instructor will be, because I didn't practice as much as I should've in the last two weeks, but that won't be anything new to him He's cool anyway.
My weekend looks moderately full. I have a baby shower for my cousin I'm going to, and a picnic my grandma is throwing. We WERE going to be going to breakfast for my birthday (a few days early) but my mom decided that was too much food in one day *shrugs*. So, now I get to snack on finger foods and eat hotdogs (two of my least favorite things to eat). Lol. Oh well. I'll bring Subway or something to make up the difference.

Yeah, my ma's got a big list of things for me to do, but I'll irritate her and ignore it for a couple more minutes ...
Oh, some news that's really exciting for me, I'm gonna go to school! I'm so happy, my ma's even bumping me up a grade so I can go into high school. No more loser home school girl will I be. x3
Ham is good. I think one of the million people my family is having over for Easter is making ham.
Oops, I forgot about my dog outside, I've got to stop now. xD;;
Keira; But just being at a picnic surrounded by the ones you love will make up for that, right? My little bro is having a similiar problem, except we can't celelbrate his birthday on his birthday because it falls on Good Friday, and the one meal we're allowed to eat isn't going to include a bunch of pizza and cake. -'sides, we'd only be able to eat cheese pizza-

Tens, I was totally thinking the same thing yesterday, about the boards being too quiet. I was getting an echo yesterday, hahah. I actually started writing two posts that I had to save to Word because I didn't have time to finish.
So I'm still getting over The Evil Stomach Virus that hit me last Friday. The only other time I have ever felt worse than I did on Friday night was when I was in labor. Food is only just now starting to look less threatening.
I'm going to make some sort of Easterish meal on Sunday, but it will be weird because my husband is leaving on Saturday for Hungary. He's going to be there until the following Saturday. I'm excited for him because it should be an interesting trip (even though it is for work), but it will still be empty here without him.
And in other news, I cannot wait for spring. Every so often we get a day that goes into the 40's and it gets me all psyched. I've been paging through the gardening and seed catalogs quiet a bit recently.
I'm also (still, heheh) working on my last draft of Finders Keepers. It keeps getting more and more focused and I've finally figured out why the end wasn't working for me, so maybe it'll actually be out there getting looked at soon. *crosses fingers*
And I guess that's about it for me. I'll try and get at least one of those other posts done today.

I've been paging through the gardening and seed catalogs quiet a bit recently. I actually just bought the last of my seeds the other day, only a couple of months early. Can't wait for the weather to turn! I'm looking into schooling today, and making pizza for tomorrow, and a meal for tonight. Thaat is pretty much my day. Very exciting.

I spent about two hours today preparing essay topics for a stupid academic competition next week, and that was the only goal I had for today, so now I don't know what to do. I'm supposed to go up to the church and help clean, but...I'm trying to think of an excuse to get out of that.

Oh, I already had a squimish stomach after reading about Mike being strapped down to his hospital bed, and now Nittanylizard talks about the stomach flu? I don't think I'll be able to eat for a while now. xD;; I'm glad you're starting to feel better! The stomach virus is about the worst possible virus a person can get -in my view at least- or bad food that causes your stomach to become upset. Lucky me, I have a 'gentle' stomach, that doesn't accept a lot of different foods if they have too much acid, or whatever, in it.
Your husband is always going away, huh? You'd better tell him to bring you something good back from Hungary.
You never know, Laughing, some times its those things you really don't want to do that end up being fun. Or just a filler for a really lame evening ...

You know, I have one plant - Spike - and he definitely got a big frown from our building manager when she inspected the place. So...I'm thinking a dozen more plants for spring. Recommendations? I mean, my dad bought the place. I can't have pets, but no one said anything about plants.
As for these stomach bugs, I hear Norwock is going around. Man, that is a nasty bug. I caught it back in '05 while I was a camp counselor. At least it hit me on the weekend. I'm lucky that way. If I get sick, well, it's at home.
Hope you are feeling better Liz! Make Rich take pictures of Hungary!
And Sharp...well, thanks! I'm glad I got such a reaction out of you!
Alrighty then. I think dinner is in order after all this sick talk. Spaghetti, salad, raspberry sherbert...yum yum.

Sharp: Yes, it will be nice to be with people, yada yada yada. If you knew my extremely dysfunctional family, though, you'd realize why my immediate family is the first to show up and last to stay. We need people other than ourselves to associate with, haha.
Speaking of my dysfunctional family, my younger brother is being allowed to have a five hour home visit on Friday. He lives on a boys ranch and though certain members of the family aren't allowed to be IN the house while he's here, he'll still be here all the same. I haven't seen him properly since last March. I got to talk to him twice, once for 20 seconds on the phone and he got in trouble for it, and another time at a football game he was playing in, but he didn't get to say a word to me. Long story you don't want to know about, lol.
And I've officially written one page of my rough draft exploratory research paper for English! It's supposed be between 4-6 pages, theoretically, but it's the rough draft so screw the length requirement!

Um, I meant no offense when I said that, by the way. xD
Keira; I'm sorry, that must really suck. It makes me depressed just thinking about it ...
To lighten the mood;
Did anyone else here about the woman who sat on a toilet for over two years, and her boyfriend didn't call the police or anyone until now? My little brother's first reaction to that was," She must've broke a world record!" Something only an eleven year old boy could think of. ^-^;;

I've been stuck in bed for the past week with a broken foot. They didn't think it was that bad at first, but I ended up needing surgery. Looks like I'm going to miss another few weeks of school before I'll have to go back though, so I'm not complaining! I think I've been too loopy on pain meds to be able to really concentrate on anything productive, but thankfully that fog has started to lift. ~Hannie

man y'all made me really hungry with all that food talk. I guess I'm going to have to go eat after i finish this and shower but in other words...
My finals are done now so for the next week and a couple days (till the 31) I'm out of college, no more finals this week then spring break next. I was really looking forward to it until I was told that I have to get my teeth yanked out. I'm just kidding sorta. The Monday after easter I have to get all four of my wisdom teeth removed so I don't have to work and then I get to lay around the house and do nothing. I had a reader of one of my fanfic's tell me "think of all the writing you'll get done." Well I guess that is true but during my Christmas break I didn't get much done but anyway I think I'm rambling.
Easter's going to be boring like every year, church in the morning, followed by dinner at the out-laws house and maybe some food at my other grandma's. I don't know. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Now I'm gone because my stomach is rumbling.
Sorry Dukes of Hazzard moment there.

Well, I guess there's always a positive side, even with a stomach bug. Inspiration is everywhere : When Darry Found Out - www.fanfiction.net/s/4142724/1/Summary: Thirteen, drunk, and mourning, Ponyboy learns that sometimes, holding on hurts more than letting go. It's just a one-shot that wouldn't leave me alone last night until I wrote it.

I'm still on March Break (private school, they decided to go with a two-week holiday) till Monday. That's about all that's going on right now.

Aloe vera! Get one, treat it well, and it will multiply quicker than wild cats. Plus there's the whole soothing burns part that's a plus. Practical! Then spider plants multiply like mad too.
