Wow, so many off topic things to comment on...so I'd better get started!
I am horrible for updating. I have at least a dozen chapters on the go at any one time and I never seem to concentrate on one unless I think on it and Laura sends me a poke. The last month has been crazy, so I think December will be good. Hold me to that!
As for fight scenes, a lot of them are unbelievable. I've been in fights and they are nuts. There are no set people just going at each other at any one time. It's a free for all. And generally in a gang situation, it's insane. You're not one on one, you're stepping on anyone who gets knocked down, you're just in a bind to throw your punches at someone not wearing your colors... Well, that's enough from me.
As for kid brothers, mine is banned from touching my computer. He crashed my dad's twice before he finally got his own, so happy day there.
And that's about all my rambling head can think of.

It takes me a while to update because of my rigid writing schedule: First, I write the first draft which can take anywhere from an hour to a week or more depending on the plot developments and sub-plots involved. Second, I send the chapter to my beta and it gets picked apart and corrected before being airplaned back to me. Third, I make the corrections and send it back for another looking over ... this could take as many as four or five times going to my beta before it is finally approved for posting. Fourth, and lastly ... I post it to the story and wait for reviews while I start the next chapter and the process begins again.
