I post as I go. I have no patience, and any of my fics that aren't one-shots are novel length. I just can't wait, lol. Plus, I love hearing feedback so I can include it in later scenes or watch for it as I write. It means (optimistically, lol) that I can improve my writing throughout the fic. Which is both good and frustrating because I read back and I wish I could just change everything bad, or take out subplots that disappear...etc. I'm planning a shorter fic (heh, we'll see...) and I may write that completely before posting just to have a story out there with a consistent level of writing and a clear plot. Maybe. I might change my mind.

Like zevie, I have no patience. I post as I write. First, though, I take it to work and have my unofficial beta read it for me, then I post it when I get home. Those days always seem to go really slow because I just want to get home and put the chapter up.

I post as I go, for the most part, but that really got me into trouble with "When I Grow Up" (which I think I'm about to delete.) I didn't have a clear idea of how to get from points A to C, so I've been stuck for a long time.
The last long fic I did in the Numb3rs forum, I posted as I went, but I had an outline and I knew exactly where it was going. I also had an awesome beta, so when I hit a snag, she helped pull me out.

Yeah I post as I go, which I regret doing. For some reason after I start posting as I go, my writing goes down hill because I get self-conscious about it. Like my new Shepard fic; the prologue is good but the other chapters suck. All my originals/fanfics which I don't post are decent, the ones I do eh... What's wrong with me?? lol. I keep saying I'll write Fics first, then post, but I get impatient

I am a post as you go gal. I find if I don't, I don't put it up period. Plus I find comments to be helpful and the constant writing really helped my skills along, especially when I was first starting out. I am working on a story right now that I plan to finish before I post, so it's a bit of a trial run. Well see how it goes. But as of right now, I kind of forget about it. *shrugs* oh well.
See ya in the funny papers!!!
