I was just wondering if anyone else has the same problem of keeping in one P.O.V? For soem reason when I go onto a second or third chapters (or more) I have a problem with keeping in the same P.O.V at the starting of them.
Does anyone else have this same problem? If so got any tips on how to keep them all the same P.O.V's?

not really... but just put yourself as the character in who's POV you are using.. maybe that will help..?

Okay, I'll try that. I usually try to put the last line of the chapter before as the beginning line of the next chapter.

I always picture myself as whoever's POV I'm writing from. If I'm writing from Ponyboy's POV, I visualize the scene as though I am him. I don't view it from the corner of the room.
Maybe try writing in first person for a while. Third person is harder to get down, but first person helps to set up the foundation for other points of view (in my experience, at least).

okay thanks Keira, I will try that more. It's just for some reason I can't keep it all the P.O.V. But thanks for the tips all. It's very helpful. I will try to picture the scene and everything from that characters P.O.V.
Again, thanks for the help.

Actually, yes. The very first fanfiction I've read in the Outsiders Archives was "Splintered Ties That Bind", then "Esoterically Yours", and then "I Ain't Useless". Before them were Kingdom Hearts (Teenage Wasteland), Teen Titans, and Percy Jackson, but now I mostly hang 'round Outsiders archives almost exclusively.
Well anyway, those three stories in particular have had profound effects on my writing (which I sorely dislike, honestly), therefore I almost perpetually switch point of views.
