It's been brought to our attention that a few members do not want their birthday's publicly announced on the forum. If you are one of these who do not wish to have your birthday displayed on the calendar at the bottom of the home page, all you need to do is to choose to not have your age/birthday shown in your profile.
On your birthday the only ones who will see any announcement is you and the administration. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to eliminate it altogether (yet), but when proboards makes that possible, we'll let you know.
