So sad. My thoughts are with his family. What a fantastic creative soul the world just lost.

It's so, so hard to believe. He's in a better place now. We will miss you, Patrick!

I just found out from Liz's facebook status What a sad day. He was such a talented actor and a fun person.

I found a nice article on msn that you all may be interested in reading:movies.msn.com/movies/article.aspx?news=431218>1=28101And here's an excerpt with a quote from C. Thomas Howell:C. Thomas Howell, who co-starred with Swayze in "The Outsiders," "Grandview U.S.A." and "Red Dawn", said: "I have always had a special place in my heart for Patrick. While I was fortunate enough to work with him in three films, it was our passion for horses that forged a friendship between us that I treasure to this day. Not only did we lose a fine actor today, I lost my older `Outsiders' brother."

I just heard from my sister and I thought she was kidding at first. Unfortunately not. I haven't actually watched him in all that much, but what I have seen, I've loved. I'll miss him, his work, and I might just watch The Outsiders today for him.

I heard from BlindedXXFalcon the other day, and I seriously sat there and I was like, "Stop kidding. Don't joke about that." Then she sent me the link and I saw it, and I immediately began to cry. God, it was awful.
I'm just glad that he is in a better place and he isn't in any pain.
