Faramir: The enemy?
(Faramir walks toward the fallen [enemy] soldier and turns the body so his face can be seen.)
Faramir: His sense of duty was no less than yours, I deem.
(Faramir stares down on the [enemy] soldier's face, his own face full of pondering)
Faramir: You wonder what his name is, where he came from. And if he was really evil at heart. What lies or threats led him on this long march from home. If he would not rather have stayed there ... in peace. (turns on his heel back to his men) War will make corpses of us all.

i'm actually in the process of doing a randy-fic with that title..."war will make corpses of us all"...a character sketch of him pondering things after bob's death...maybe it's just me, but that quote really struck me as applying to the socs and greasers...their "sense of duty" and if they really were simply "hoods" and "socs" or if they would have rather keep to themselves...in peace...
