Not exactly. I know that the Beslan school was held hostage and a lot of kids killed, but that's about as far as my knowledge goes on that.

the bear is a common symbol for russia, which is where it occured in, i believe...the teddy bear is a symbol of childhood...that would be my guesses

i'm not sure if it's their official national symbol or not...i just know that it's a common symbol for russia
also, that's another reason for using a teddy bear as a symbol for the children, having the bear in the cartoon...it's like the bear is mourning its own child

that's the real reason that businesses shut down and/or get sold out...the bosses role snake eyes...that's why we're in a recession right now, too many people rolling snake eyes...damn them! damn them to the bloody bowels of hell!
