I love writing Angela Shepard. She's such a great character to explore. There must be a reason behind her bitterness, right? Then again, I haven't written any other greasy girl. I'm considering Sylvia. Somday  |

I'm writing a story about Dally and Sylvia right now (not posted yet) and shes really fun to write about.
Ages ago I read a really good story about Evie on ff.net, I should try and find it to post a link. It was great.

samanthamae-Angela is a really great character.I agree with you that there is alto to explore with her.

It was so long ago I read it, the only thing I actually remember about it is that she taught Ponyboy to drive lol. I'll have a look for it.
I'm finishing my other story before I start posting the new one, but I'll put up a link when I do.

I would read about any of the greaser girls. In an original story that so male-dominated, I'd welcome a different point of view but from the same world (ie. not a Soc. girl like Cherry).
I'm happy to see more of these female background characters being brought in lately. It mixes the pot a bit and makes things more interesting!

well, personally I dont really like to read about any of them -- but my friend got a hankering for Sylvia and has a story (in her mind.. im getting onto her about writing and posting it) of Sylvia having a female cousin -- Stacy, who dated Dally before Sylvia and gave up her virginity to him, but then Dal cheated in he with Sylvia -- her cousin, not knowing at the time the two were related.
It's actually pretty interesting/funny because the two always end up fighting each other at family reunions and have to be kept apart and escorted to the washroom.
My friend is a somewhat amateur writer.... so I'd have to beta her story or it would be flamed and then it would be neglected even though its a good story idea.
She will be appearing in my story soon, though because that's how she was born -- in an RP between me and my friend with Emma Smith/Winston.
And I actually quite enjoy reading about Angel Shepard. It's interesting to see how different people depict her. Some even give her a soft side - some feelings. One girl even did a bit on her after she's married and how abusive her husband is and her drinking and desperation in life. I like when people do that with Angel. I do a bit in my story, too. =D
