OK in the book Ponyboy said that Two-Bit loves his blonde's but how come in the movie Marcia the only girl that Two-Bit flirted with was a brunet I'm not sure if it was the same in the book (because I don't remember )but doesn't this seem a little odd to anybody or do you think that S.E. Hinton meant to do that?

No, not really.
Just because he likes blondes doesn't mean the only girls he dates will be blonde, and it doesn't mean the only girls he finds attractive are blonde. Blonde was probably just his weakness or something.

Yes, in the book Marcia had "short, dark hair."
I don't really find it odd, but what I do find odd is how people have obviously read the book, know Marcia is a brunette, and yet in every story on fanfiction.net Two-Bit's love interest (if he has one) must be blonde!
It's like he detests every girl who isn't blonde and doesn't even want to look at them or something. He did like blondes the best, but that doesn't mean that he wouldn't like another girl (like Marcia) just because she had dark hair. Or that's what I think, anyway.

These are all really good points I guess I never thought about it and Marsonfire I think you should definitely write that Marcia and Two-Bit it would be a good read !

And that is why I add my own twist of irony and always plan Two-Bit ending up with a brunette
Seriously, I think he's just indulging in being a kid for as long as he can and blondes have this stereotype against them that makes them both easy and fun. Two-Bit seems to be the type of guy who will go for both because he's not ready to give up being a kid - thus going to school and never passing. So I think when and if he was ready to grow up he would choose wisely and most likely go for someone steady enough to even out his wild side.
