YEEPS. I don't know what brought this up in your mind (unless it was chapter 46  ) but this post...it spoke to me. *hides face in shame* "Happy Birthday Dallas" is one giant porn fest of the worst kind. Sex parts make me giggle normally, so I BLAME DALLAS for the ridiculously graphic, kinky crap that made it to the posted draft. Or Tim. It's their faults, I SWEAR! I can't step into their minds in a romance fic without going to the dark side. Although... Even in the shortest little tidbit, Tim manages to at least have some fun with himself in my stuff. This is where I'd need a beta to slap me on the nose with a newspaper and say: "Down, girl." |

You know, what goes on in my head is a constant porn show because of the boys I grew up with - thank you gutter brains - but I haven't gotten around to writing it down. I think if I started things would go down south in the whole 'updating things that have been sitting for forever' bit.
Well, I did start writing one, infact it's on the go in my notebook, so we'll see if that ever goes anywhere.

At what point do you actually cross the NC-17 line? Or the "M" line, whatever. I've never paid any attention to ratings - everything I write is "T". I'd worry more, but, uh, I don't give a sh*t. You can just as easily access the "M" works as the "T".

I think it's all about good judgement since the guidelines aren't totally clear. As relatively "mature" people we can figure out how to rate our stories especially if they're graphic. Plus, people always put up their warnings in the summary and A/N's it seems so I would think that people who would be offended would know better than to read.

Please be mindful that we have a lot of young authors that frequent this site as well. I have no way of putting a flag on the topic, and wouldn't want someone to read something they find terribly offensive. You've all done a good job at keeping it pretty tame though, so far, so thank you for that |

My mom ran a daycare when I was really little. I don't remember it, so I can't say I grew up with those kids, but I did grow up with seven brothers, one best friend, my best friends brother and sister...But, seriously, my brothers corrupted my mind so much. |
