It'll make perfect sense to those of you living in the southern hemisphere I know its half over, but better late than never! Anyways, moving on... Our dear Latch22 passed along to me a fantastic writing prompt from Writer's Digest. So thankies to her for supplying the topic on this one! A Sticky Situation:When you woke up this morning, you didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. Oddly enough, it turned into a day you would never forget... Write a story that starts with the phrase: "If it wasn't for that (fill in the blank), I wouldn't be stuck in this pickle," and ends with "And that's how I ended up duct-taped to the (fill in the blank)." It's supposed to be around five hundred words, but who the hell can stick to just 500 words? Use that as a minimum if you want. 6 pages max, as usual. Any POV acceptable and so forth. Ends October 1st Happy writing and good luck to all! See ya in the funny papers!!!! Tens Oh, and please refer to the rules for this section if you have any questions or are new to this topic.

That's what I thought when I first read it. Him or Curly. Who knows, maybe Steve has an adventure for once. I think there are lots of ways to have fun with this!

haha, I'm trying to imagine Steve duct taped to anything. Great idea, and I think I"m going to try and keep it in 500 words, for extra challenge.
