After looking into it, I found out that Proboards does not allow for HTML to be used when posting. This is prevent spamming and overly obnoxious posts.
Instead they use what is called UBBC, or UBBC code tags. Some of you may already know this, or have noticed if you've ever changed the color of your text, use the Glowing feature, and other options listed at the top of the Message box you write it where it says "Add Tags".
The following is a list of some of the UBBC Code tags and what effects they'll produce. Both the open and close tag for each formatting feature is included in these examples. (Remove spaces between the brackets and letters to use. Posted as shown so it will appear in the post.)
[ b ][ /b ] Bold Text.
[ i ][ /i ] Italic Text.
[ u ][ /u ] Underline Text.
[ sub ][ /sub ] Subscript.
[ sup ][ /sup ] Superscript.
[ strike ][ /strike ] OR [ s ][ /s ]Strikethrough.
[ pre ][ /pre ] Preformatted Text.
[ url ][ /url ] Add a URL Link.
[ left ][ /left ]
[ center ][ /center]
[ right ][ /right ]
[ img ][ /img ] Add an Image.
[ email ][ /email ] Add an E-Mail Link.
[ code ][ /code ] Display CGI or Perl Code.
[ quote ][ /quote ] Add Quote.
[ list ][ * ][ /list ] Make a List. Any text with a bracketed asterisk will be a bullet point. To add more bulleted items, just add more bracketed asterisks, like this [ * ]
[ color= ][ /color ] Change the color of the text. Type in the word for the color you want to use after the equal sign in the first tag. For example, [ color=red ], [ color=blue ], etc.
You can use multiple tags to create various effects. Just remember to close all your tags in reverse order when you're done with them! For example, to make the phrase "I love this place" bold, italics, underlined and red, the code would look like this: (Remember... tags are always closed in the opposite order in which they were opened...)
I love this place
TO POST YOUR RUMBLE STORIES:
Unfortunately, I have not found an easier way to post those than to go in and fix the spacing by hand. It may take some experimentation with the [ pre ][ /pre ] codes, among others, but I'll let you know when/if I figure something out. You all are welcome to experiment on this thread if you so desire.
Thanks!
