I heart this topic: Best Outsiders- www.fanfiction.net/s/3262554/1/The_Other_SideBest Ever (a Lost Boys fic)- www.fanfiction.net/s/2447681/1/The_Lost_GirlWorst Outsiders and Worst Ever- www.fanfiction.net/s/2452224/1/Ann_and_the_GangThe Other Side was possibly the best idea I ever had. The idea of showing Dallas alive after Johnny's death just kind of hit me. And I imagined him worse off then before, with a rage so great he couldn't stop himself. So I came up with Dallas in a relasionship with a girl that he beats because he's changed so much and has to take his anger out on something. It's a short three chapter story. The Lost Girl was one of the first stories I came up with but I've recently been reworking it. It's my favorite by far because it's fun to write. Plus, it's probably one of the better pieces of my work. It's a lot better spelling and grammer wise. As for Ann and the Gang, if you name one thing that could go wrong with a fanfiction story, you can probably find it in that story. No joke. I hate it so much but I just can't find the heart to take it down. I like to look back on it and go over my mistakes and stupidity. Lol.

Worst was difficult to choose, but not as difficult as best. I began a lot of lousy stories because I didn't have any effort in them (*cough*lazy*cough*) and I was just trying out the characters for a while--feeling them out, seeing how they worked--but in the end I decided that I STILL really dislike Hold The Line: www.fanfiction.net/s/3043029/1/Hold_The_Line I never understood why anybody liked that and why it has the most reviews out of any story of mine, but I'm being a good sport and not cowering as I post the link. It could be that it just has more chapters than the rest... Hmm, that could be it. I'm much fonder of its sequel, Remember Never. Best was agonizing... I finally narrowed it down to Tough, Innocence, and Cogs. I chose Too Much Crime For Innocence because it was short, sweet, and simple, and I used a character that I usually left for someone else. Also, it covered something that I hadn't seen before. www.fanfiction.net/s/3323874/1/Too_Much_Crime_For_InnocenceCheers!

I haven't written too many stories, so there aren't that many to chose from. My best, is "Epiphany." www.fanfiction.net/s/2839388/1/EpiphanyMy worst is "The Black Cat." www.fanfiction.net/s/2814629/1/The_Black_CatCompared to some stories I've seen, "The Black Cat," may not seem that bad. But, to me, it's just too fluffy and too short. It was my first story, a warm-up if you will into the world of fan fiction, but that's no excuse!

This was ... surprisingly easy for me. Maybe because I only have about five or six stories up, and most of them are oneshots, lol. My best ones are probably Fragments -- www.fanfiction.net/s/3376165/1/Fragments, and Don't Think Twice, It's All Right -- www.fanfiction.net/s/2862430/1/Dont_Think_Twice_Its_All_Right. Fragments is a oneshot; it's Soda's POV in Vietnam. There are two others like that, another one in Soda's POV called On Distant Ground, and one in Steve's called Soldier in Paradise. But I really think Fragments is probably my best out of the three. There are ... a few random characters in there who'll probably never make an appearance again, lol. I just needed a few names. And two of them are borrowed surnames from Major League II, lol. And Don't Think Twice is, yes, a Curtis sister fic, but I don't think I'm alone here when I say it's probably one of the best out there. It's quite informative and in no way cliche, with only canon pairings, and Eleanor is most certainly not a Mary Sue (there is a pairing with her, but it's with an original character). I just wish it wasn't too late in the game now to change the title, because I'm really not too fond of it anymore, lol. ^_^ My worst ... probably Gasoline -- www.fanfiction.net/s/3457795/1/Gasoline. It's a songfic ("Gasoline," by Seether), and it's one greaser's observations on a group of Soc girls, and it doesn't tell you whose POV it's in -- you can pretty much envision anybody you want. It's not terrible, but ... Idk, I just don't like it very much, and I'm debating with just taking it down. D:

I love this thread! I love hearing people talk about their work honestly. But, this was really friggin hard (so, please excuse the babbling). Best - Singing in the Rain: www.fanfiction.net/s/3460900/1/Singing_in_the_RainTim on a Tim day. or, Happy Birthday Dallas: www.fanfiction.net/s/1003597/1/Happy_Birthday_DallasI'll probably hate it in a couple of years, but for now, I think (hope) it's fairly realistic homo activity (in most parts). Plus, I get to write Tim gettin' it on. Woot. Worst - The Bad News: www.fanfiction.net/s/803892/1/The_Bad_NewsTim one-shot, in which everyone is OOC. Darry's the eternal parent, Tim smokes up, and I used the word "arse", which, for a Canuck, was horribly poser-ish and Brit-wannabe of me. (I blame Georgia Nicolson.) or, Slashed Tires: www.fanfiction.net/s/471567/1/Slashed_TiresMy first. I'd bring up the multiple POVs, the grammar mistakes, the fragmented plot, but essentially, this is why: "Cherry led them through the glass door, onto a wide balcony. It overlooked the gardens, moonlight glimmering off the freshly showered plants. The stone was smooth underneath their feet and the air felt cool and calming, the fresh scent of lilac dancing on the wind. Dallas glanced at Cherry unable to stop the thought that, if circumstances were different, it could have been like a romantic fairytale out here on a full moon." Oh, god. Oh, god.

Oh, so were playing this game are we?
Well, my worst is probably Finn. It was my first and is one big edit. It's the base of all my future plans for the boys and...There are so many things I want to go back and add and change and fiddle with and I definitely need Laura for that because she is an amazing beta and she loves the characters as much as I do. *takes a breath* So yeah. First attempt needs revamp. Badly.
www.fanfiction.net/s/1646481/1/
But from the feedback I've gotten, other people think Where I stand is my worst piece. *shrugs* Ok then. I liked it.
www.fanfiction.net/s/2325425/1/
My best is Who Gets to be Daddy. It's the one that makes me smile and it's just too much fun to read. When you consider I hated everything when I wrote it...well, you know how it goes. It needs an edit, too, but hey. What's really funny is it's in the Finn universe...

See ya in the funny papers!!!

Artemis already knows I rip myself to pieces when it comes to my writing (which is why I was surprised Long Time Running was one of her best, because I hath tainted it. Lol. No, I'm proud of it too).
This is actually hard for me, though, because I can't pick out my best... or the worst.
Hm, Worst would probably be... Blindfolded (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3161462/1/Blindfolded_A_Companion_To_Running_In_The_Dark).
I got so off-track with it, and I'm just... eh, about it. It didn't do what I wanted it to do.
Ambivalence is a close second.
Best would have to be my two one-shots, Happy New Year (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3321600/1/Happy_New_Year) and Red Rover (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3410558/1/Red_Rover).
I love these two, because I tried a new style with Happy New Year and ventured into the forbidden Dally/Cherry pairing, and I'd never really written a child before I did Red Rover. Neither of them broke the double digits in reviews, but I'm fond of them.
(Ew look at that little 'newbie' title... lol. Miso's a newb, bahaha)

Hmm. This was tougher than I thought it would be. Best: Either a one-shot "All the Little Things"-- www.fanfiction.net/s/3522588/1/All_the_Little_ThingsThis one because, I don't know, I wrote about Sodapop dying, something I don't do much, and I actually enjoyed it and liked what came out of it. It sounds kind of weird to say that, though. Or a longer story, "Not"-- www.fanfiction.net/s/3527275/1/NotI liked the plot. Lol. And worst: excluding the joke story I posted (ick), I would have to say "Dealing 2, Daphne's Story"-- www.fanfiction.net/s/3511926/1/Dealing_2_Daphnes_StoryJust because it might have been a good idea (it's about Sandy's baby) but I don't think I wrote it very well and I just sort of gave up on it, it's not even finished.

haha, thanks Tens. I'm working on the first chaps, I swear. I guess for my - I've only got on and it's my best and worst. Forward motion: www.fanfiction.net/s/3237812/1/Forward_MotionI really like the concept of a sad soda and love bringing him back to life - whether it be in the form of the gang, his brothers, or romance - because I think that's waht motivates him: people. But I think I wrote Sam very poorly in my head and need to develop the idea more. Futhermore, I copped out and used the jumping thing, though I don't think I did it in a particularly ms-ish way. If I had to choose, I'd put it under my worst, but some people seem to like it. I think I'm going to start writing more - mabye I'll actually have something to post then, haha! P.S. I like this thread - it's good to have to re-evaluate your own writing.
