Have any of you read a really funny Outsiders parody? Or have you written one? I know sometimes they can be just really funny to read. The one I thought was very funny was "Fat Pony" by Flag.

I saw the summary of that one, laughed so hard I thought I'd faint, so I couldn't possibly read the story. I might check it out sometime, though.
The Good Shepard, by MisoSoop was pretty good. I read that one, like, a month ago I think? It made me laugh.
There are lots of Mary-Sue parodies out there. There was only one that made me laugh super hard, but I completely forget what it's called. Hmm...maybe I'll look it up later tonight.

Haha, when I read Fat Pony with my sister, I was laughing so hard I almost fell off my chair. And then my stomach hurt. ;D But I read a sort of parody about Mary-Sues by the same author. It's called Anti-Sue, and again it's by Flag. It was pretty good...

Great topic! The first one that I thought of is called The Mary-Sue, by Fragile-Ego. Although I had to supress the editor in me and ignore the constant mistakes, it was incredibly funny. www.fanfiction.net/s/2217758/1/ I wrote one, too, but I don't think that it was all that good.

I was just reading that one today, Latch22! Lol. And I thought it was hilarious! Although, yes, there were some grammar issues going on. I'm thinking about doing something similar...maybe with the Sister Sue, but I doubt it would be as good or funny. Hmm...

The Good Shepard is an awesome parody. Because Ted Shepard -- and I hate to use this word, because it's become too much of a trend, but I feel it applies -- Ted Shepard pwns all. The end.
I've written a parody. It's a crossover between The Outsiders and M*A*S*H, called "Some 38th Parallells." I've gotten some good feedback on it so far, but I can't seem to finish the second chapter, lol. :)

Masquerade, if you write any kind of sister parody, I will seriously LOVE you (not that I don't already )!

Sam, it's in the works. It'll be up in a couple of days, possibly tomorrow. But I'm not sure how good it will be... Man, I'm my own worst critic.

I'll be the first to review! Oh, and I read "The MarySue" by Fragile-Ego, and laughed so hard I cried. The first chapter, with Darry naming everyone who was in the car...BAHAH. I love how Ponyboy's always like, "I think I was the only one noticing she was a total klutz..." and when Mary-Sue's walking and the car trailing her, she slows down. I'm reading "The Secret Diary Collection". I'm glad this topic was brought up, 'cause I LOVE parodies! And Masquerade, I'll be the first person to review! Strange conversations we have sometimes...I just thought of that. Man, I need a nickname for you. Hmm...

I'm just posting it as I type this, but my computer is slow... Well, I'll be looking forward to your review, then! I like parodies...a nice funny story to read amongst a lot of romance and angst in Outsiders fanfiction. And by the way you can call me whatever you want. I don't care.

Oh, a Winston sister...now that could be an interesting addition in my story. Her name would have to start with D, just like Johnny's sister has a J name...Jasmine. Lol.
Man, now I've gotta get writing!

I liked Fat Pony...it was funny! I also liked this one I can't remember the name of, when Soda goes to work without anything except underwear. The Weirdsiders Parts 1&2 are funny.

I stumbled across a parody that I began back in January and decided to post it for a laugh or two, however feeble: She is double-jointed. She plays all instruments except clarinet, banjo, and sitar. She writes her own music. She runs faster than a cheetah. She swims faster than a tuna. In other words, if this isn't a parody, you're in trouble.Behold... Mary-Sue's Bad Hair Day. All suggestions welcome and encouraged. www.fanfiction.net/s/3645041/1/
