A Great Story...

One of my all time favorite stories has to be "Epiphany" by Emiline Harris.

This story basically is the Dallas Winston version of "Its a Wonderful Life" where Dallas gets the opportunity to see what life would have been like for the gang if he had never come to Tulsa. It had the potential to be one sappy story, but the characterization of Dallas really made the story work. I was impressed and it won awards last season at WSOTTA. I really suggest everyone read this one.

Wow! Thank you so much for the glowing review!

I consider "Epiphany" to be my first real Outsiders fic so, understandably, it was my baby. I absolutely enjoyed every second that I spent writing it and, for some reason, it just flowed right out of me... Don't you love it when that happens? It didn't hurt either that the story had a very distinct end in mind and also provided me the freedom to take Dally places he wouldn't usually go without changing canon around. All in all, everything just clicked for me as a writer on that particular story.

I'm glad I got the characterization of Dally down right too... He has always been my favorite and the last thing I would want to do is sap him up too much! Thankfully, the story (as a whole) never really crossed the line into sappy territory either.

Again, thanks for that review!! I don't consider myself to be that great of a writer, so it really means a lot!
