I just saw that episode last week! Was quite surprised, too, because it didn't look like him right away.
It was pretty cool, though. :)

They had a lot of great guest stars. I think Leslie Nielson was one of my all time favorites. But yes, I remember Patrick on the show. It does take a minute to recognize him.

Nope. I have not. I don't know why but I don't like crossovers. It's strange seeing fandoms mixed.
Though now that I think about it, Stand By Me/Outsiders crossover would be interesting, since it's the same era and the characters are sort of smiliar. I want to see that now!

I've read a few Outsiders/Stand By Me crossovers over the years. Some have been really interesting and some have jsut been an excuse to have more hot boys to fall in love with the female character. But it's one it's a cross that's easy to make the link for. All you need to do is age the younger SBM boys to late teenagehood and you're not even playing with timelines. You've even got that handy Merril link. I think in the hands of one of you guys it could be done really well.

You really need to! It's AWESOME. Though there's honestly not that much Matt in it . I'm more of a Stephen Dorff girl myself. Or at least with that movie I am.

A Outsiders/Stand by Me crossover could be really awesome in the right hands. Maybe Ace and Eyeball commit a crime and have to skip town - that could work?

The movie and novella are both awesome. It could make a seriously cool crossover. Someones got to write it now!

I wrote a short StandByMe/Outsider fic on paper. Instead of running to Windrixville, Johnny and Pony went to Castle Rock, lol.

We need a place to put our plot bunnies that we don't feel like writing...OMG, I am creating one on my message board.

I wrote a crossover in October! And... golly, I'm posting late. Anywho. It was, in honour of Halloween, The Rocky Horror Picture Show/Outsiders. I think I kind of ruined my own outlook on both fandoms, and I will never be able to un-think the Floorshow portion, but hey! I had tons of unsettling fun writing it.
