I heard about that today -- I didn't realize they happened that sparingly. It seems like there's one happening every so often, but I must be remembering wrong. I think I heard that it'll be starting here at 8:01 or 8:06 or something. Maybe I'll watch I've never seen one before.

Go take a look now. It's partly shadowed over already, and you can see Saturn and . . . uh . . . the other star they were talking about .

Regulus? *Feels very nerdy that she knows this, because she only remembered since it shares a name with a Harry Potter character* I wish I'd been able to watch it ... I had a brain fart and remembered that the sky here has been cloudy for almost the last two months (no joke) and there was no chance of watching it, though, I do know that Tens got excited and went to look at it a few times.

Aw, I only got to see a little bit of it, I fell asleep before anything really happened! But, I guess there's always two years from now...

Know what?
I completely forgot about it, then woke up this morning thinking it was tonight.
2010 isn't that far away though.

Well, for all of you who missed it...I did not take pictures . Sorry, my sick sense of humor just kicked in there.
It was really cool. The moon went all sorts of funny reddish-orange colors when it was shadowed. You wouldn't believe it had eclipsed later because it was so bright. The only thing that bugs me is that the last two have been in winter. I would love to sit and watch, but I am not freezing my butt off again.
