1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Doesn’t matter much, they all end up in the trash sooner or later

2. Real or artificial tree?
Artificial so we don’t have a hassle every year.

3. When do you put up the tree?
December – mainly when I’m done school so we don’t end up with the “Leaning Tree of Peters”

4. When do you take the tree down?
New Years Day while we recover from drinking the night before.

5. Do you like eggnog?
Hell ya.

6. Favourite gift received as a child?
Good question. I don’t even recall. Probably a stuffed toy.

7. Do you have a nativity scene?
Just Dad sleeping in the lazy boy as the pets gather around to eat whatever he fell asleep with.

Dad

9. Easiest person to buy for?
Shadow

10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
The knit Purple socks with the frog heads on them.

Christmas Cards! You lazy, lazy people.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
When I think about it. Dec 24th is my usual date of choice…

Nope.

Scalloped potatoes.

Colored and mismatched and just wild.

The ones Jhon made up were always good in my books. The drunken Jingle Bells was priceless.

Stay at home

Yup

A star that flashes and will trigger a seizure someday.

Morning, usually.

22. Most annoying thing about this time of year?
Shopping and people who can't drive in winter conditions

Does random every color count?

24. What do/did you leave for Santa?
Used to leave Nanaimos and eggnog, but since the dogs kept getting sick, we switched to dog biscuits and water.

Either. My family uses both. It really depends on the size of the gift.

2. Real or artificial tree?
Real. That's what we've always gotten.

3. When do you put up the tree?
After my birthday and, obviously, before Christmas. xD

4. When do you take the tree down?
It stays up for a few days after New Year's, and then we take it down.

5. Do you like eggnog?
I don't love it, but I can tolerate it.

6. Favourite gift received as a child?
So many, lol. I always got great gifts. I'd probably say my cat, though he was more of a birthday gift.

7. Do you have a nativity scene?
My grandparents do. We don't personally.

8. Hardest person to buy for?
Probably my dad. He doesn't really give you a straight answer about what he wants.

9. Easiest person to buy for?
David or my mom, I think.

10. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
These dress-up doll things. They're cute, but ... I'm just too old for them, lol. I hate saying that, especially because they were from my grandma and she's gone now ... but it's true.

Snail mail, of course.

12. Favourite Christmas movie?
Probably The Santa Clause.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
I personally don't do the shopping, but we usually do it sporadically anytime between December 1st and December 25th, lol.

Ish.

15. Favourite thing to eat at Christmas?
Chocolate Santas. xD

Colored, for sure. White is so boring.

I have way too many to choose.

Stay at home. We've never traveled far for Christmas.

Yes.

I think it's some sort of angel figurine.

Christmas morning.

Rude and ignorant people in the shopping centers.

Not really. It's been about the same since I was little.

We leave milk and cookies, of course. And carrots for the reindeer. (Yes, we still believe! xD)

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?

Wrapping paper. It feels more personal to wrap someone's gift then to just throw it in a bag, and that's what my Mom always has.

2. Real or artificial tree?

Artificial. It saves the hassle of trying to buy a Christmas tree every year. Though, the cockroaches that followed us from Georgia on it weren't too nice.

3. When do you put up the tree?

Whenever my Mom wants to, usually at the end of November.

4. When do you take the tree down?

The 29th, the day after my Birthday.

5. Do you like eggnog?

Only had it once.

Well, seeing as I'm still a child...

Nope.

8. Hardest person to buy for?

Hm... I guess my Mom, 'cause she never even hints towards something she wants. -thus, she gets polka-dotted, fuzzy slippers from me-

My little brother.

A shirt about ten sizes too big from my Great Aunt, who buys presents over the year when JCPenny's has sales.

Two weeks before?

Not to my knowledge.

My family always opens one on Christmas Eve -usually the biggest- and then the rest Christmas morning.

I have to be careful where I look for things, because my mother tends to hide presents with our moving boxes.

Nope. It has ornaments we've collected from our different duty stations, and things me and my sibblings made.

Wrapping paper. Fun to wrap, and fun to unwrap. If it wasn't for the darn cats it would be even better.

Artificial... Save a lot of money and help the environment.

Probably around the 22nd.

The 26th since the cats already have it half down by then.

Siiick, I can't even eat runny eggs, let alone DRINK eggs.

A little play plastic stove set with dishes. Or the tea pot, sugar, and creamer bowls... Real glass, still have them. Beautiful.

Heck no.

8. Hardest person to buy for?
Myself, because I want nothing. Or my second oldest brother because he's a prat.

9. Easiest person to buy for?
Oldest brother, paper and a clipboard and he's set for the year.

I can't really remember anything that I didn't like...

Neither, haha, but mail if I have to pick.

24th of December... Well, maybe the 22nd.

Haha, yes, but not as a Christmas present. Gave a calender I got for Xmas to my grandma for her Bday, which is January 1st.

Neither, my parents are fanatical about tree fires. Coloured though, we actually OWN coloured lights.

I already did this, and don't remember all my answers, so I'm starting from scratch

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
* Both. Wrapping paper for guys and kids, bags for girls because they'll reuse them.

2. Real or artificial tree?
* Artificial. Real is too messy and doesn't last nearly as long.

3. When do you put up the tree?
* The day after Thanksgiving.

4. When do you take the tree down?
* Whenever someone can find the time. Usually mid-January.

5. Do you like eggnog?
* LOVE it. I might even go as far as to say I buy it when it's in season, freeze it, and it's still perfectly good up to a year from that point, after being thawed out. ;D

* Barbie's stretch limo

7. Do you have a nativity scene?
* Somewhere. It's not up this year. Only the tree is.

8. Hardest person to buy for?
* It changes from year to year. This year it's my bosses.

* Everyone in my family. I know exactly what to get each person.

* Too many to count. I didn't say this one before, but they all come from my grandparents. They have so many grandkids they buy extremely cheap presents that I can't even believe they managed to find. I love my grandparents, don't get me wrong...

* Mail. I won't say no to email, though

* The Santa Clause. Hands DOWN.

* Year round. I don't like to be broke at the end of the year *shrugs*.

* Once before. It was a white elephant gift at a work party that turned out to be something a friend would L-O-V-E.

* All the traditional foods. I've already gained some weight

* Colored. White can be pretty, but colored is FUN.

* I love all Christmas music. I think my favorites are Bob and Doug Mackenzie's Twelve Days of Christmas, Elf's Lament by Bare Naked Ladies, and now that it's already been mentioned... Christmas Shoes makes me cry every single damn time.

* Travel. We never travel out of state or anything, but traveling is good My family is too dysfunctional to stand being at home alone.

* Yes (I do believe Tens banned the naming of them on account of the fact that I did just that, before...)

You wish you were that important. I just figured if they were all listed, everyone would know.

*Nothing this year.

* Christmas morning. We'll be doing half and half this year, as my parents will be away on Christmas and my cousin (who's family we'll be staying with) still believes in Santa and won't understand if Santa doesn't bring us anything.

* People who complain about it starting too early.

* Nope. It's a conglomeration of everything.

I like gift bags better. I like having someone say "Oh, there's something else in there."

I like the real thing for the smell, but we've got the artificial tree out of simplicity. I've always wanted a white one though. With red balls.

The older I get, the longer it takes since I'm the last kid.

4. When do you take the tree down?
Soon as we get around to it.

I'm more of a cider person.

This kid's laptop that 'Santa' brought except I knew for a fact that my cousin outgrew it and gave it to my mom.

Each year the pieces broke in the packing and unpacking until it all disappeared.

My mom always swears she doesn't want anything which isn't any help.

My 'big sister' who I met through school and have stayed in touch with ever since. She's in a book club so I just get her a gift card.

That bag of lotions that I get from random people who have no idea what I want. I never use them.

The thing about having a dysfunctional family is that there's never a family portrait to send out, so neither.
