Today, my mom was talking to my uncle about how my brother got into some trouble recently for smoking pot (it's resolved, he's done, and he's a good kid so it's not going to happen again), and my uncle -- whose name is Dwight -- said that, "Did you know, when I was younger, we used to joke about my name being an acronym for Driving While Intoxicated and Getting High Too?"
I thought it was hilarious.
What are some acronyms that you guys find funny, interesting, or ironic?

Well, this one may not be polite, but I saw a banner a few weeks ago that, at the bottom, said, "Friendship, Unity, Christian Charity."
It may be misspelled, but they've got one hell of an acroynym.

there is one in Accepted that was funny. S.H.I.T. South Hampton Institute of Technology, I think, I'd have to watch it again to be sure. It was the school a couple of kids made up because they couldn't get into any other collages.

I love acronyms. I think one of my favorites was another Ford one: Found On Road Dead. Always makes me smile.
Then there's Fornication Under Consent of the King which we all fondly know as a four letter word that needs no mention....
