I have theory on Sandy but it might be far fetch what if the baby's was Soda's but she lied to protect him and she knew that he didn't have the money to support her or the baby and Soda had been struggling enough so instead of telling soda the truth she went to Florida instead. Like I said this is just a theory and far fetch one at that. Good idea. I've never thought of that, but it's definately possible. It would make an interesting story.

I actually enjoy most Sandy fics...and enjoy reading about her pregnancy being the result of a one-time thing OR her just cheating like crazy...she's an interesting character so I feel, in the hands of a good writer, that Sandy can rightly be portrayed believably in a number of ways.
For example in my current story, I'm playing around with Sandy as the type of girl who was just confused- shes a 16 year old girl from the rough side of town who just got confused about what she really wanted. So she ends up going to parties/sleeping around because she feels sort of lacking, but she doesn't really feel guilty about this (YET) b/c she is just trying to make herself happy. She regrets her decisions when she winds up pregnant, and when she sees how much she hurt Soda, and realizes she was being selfish, and the only way she could get over it was to leave with her baby (WHICH btw, I am convinced she kept)
Thats my 2 cents. Like I said though, I don't think there is a wrong way to portray Sandy (I hope to do more w/ her in future one-shots or something) as long as the way an author chooses to portray her is well-thought out and complete...
ps the only thing that really annoys me is when someone makes Sandy an absolute harlot b/c they say something like "Well OMG Sandy is Such a B**** how could you do that to SAINT SODAPOP?!?!" and then they proceed to have a fabulously flamboyant Mary-Sue (with the most bizarre names may i add) come and say to dear Saint Soda that she "will never hury you like Sandy did..." Puke.
k im rambling now....
