How do you guys feel about posting pictures for your stories? Like of what you picture your OC looking like. Or maybe even posting pictures of canons. I always liked doing it just cause it gave me something to do. So I thought I'd ask. (If my s doesn't show up on anything, I'm sorry. It's kind of broken  ) |

And I, too, can't draw worth my life. I drew one picture of a coke bottle in grade seven that turned out terrific, but I never again could draw without it looking like it was done by a two-year-old.
But it would be a good idea. I have a OMC, but I can't seem to discribe him too well. Maybe some of us can hire professional artists or something.

Thanks. I'm glad you were inspired by it. I came up with the pictures but a friend of mine from another site put them all together. As for pictures, I NEVER draw mine. I can't draw to save my life actually.  I usually just end up going on the internet and finding really artistic pictures like the ones in my sig that inspire me and remind me of my own characters. It's fun and it's kind of a creative release for me when I'm all blocked up. |

If I were forced to draw to save my life, I would die a quick death. I don't think that I've ever accompanied my stories with art. I do think that it's pretty neat, though, when I see it. Kudos to those that do.

I can only draw well if I take my time. (Which is why it was not a good idea for me to take that drawing class freshman year; I am way too impatient, lol.) Some things I draw come out okay, though. It just depends on what I'm drawing and how much effort and time I'm willing to sacrifice for it.
I've tried accompanying things I've written with drawings before, but I think I'd rather do the writing, because it's what I do best. Creating a picture with words is easier for me than creating one with drawings.
I do, however, enjoy painting quite a bit ... I just wish I was better at that, lol. :)

I cannot draw on the paint attachment on our computer and I have no idea how to scan pictures...I'll have to figure it out. I can draw to some extent, just not as well as my brothers, who could actually win an art show with his drawing. I don't have the patience to sit down and draw a really, really good picture, either. my mom always tells me I have the attention span of a six-year-old. Edit- Well, that was easy to figure out. I looked at my printer and saw a button that said "Start Scan". I guess I know how to scan in pictures now. |

I draw, not wow-thats-amazing kinda stuff, but it's alright. You know, now that I think about it I haven't drawn any of my own characters, lol. I've drawn a whole bunch of Tens' OC's. William Reilly *dreamy sigh*, Aries Lupin, Finn, Mike Garren, Sevrin, Passin' Through. Who else? Man, that's a lot. Tens you lucky gal, I don't even give my own characters the time of day, lol. I should start charging, jk. Maybe I should take requests since I got nothing better to do lately... Hmmmm. |

I suck at art. Stick people are about my limit.  If I posted pictures...not that I have many OC's anyway...people would hate my characters from then on. This is why I should've done less talking and more drawing in art class. |

I am getting really annoyed with being unplugged from the internet in the middle of my posts... Just so you all know!
I can't draw so I cast lol.
From your fingers to my list of actors and actresses, Mars, haha. I seriously cannot draw. Never could, never will. I paint occasionally, but I excel at writing.
Ryker has drawn a few of my characters, for which I am always very grateful, but being an ocean away, it becomes rather hard to describe what I see in comparison to what she draws, you know? So I spend my time scouring the net for pics. I know some people who are exceptionally good at that and I envy them! I envy the drawers, too!

TOTALLY AGREE. I can't deal with that for most actresses or actors and definitely not for models. They just don't look like real people to me, lol. I used to scour magazines for pictures that looked like characters, but that doesn't work for me anymore. My fav pictures are linked to on this site already, lol. Ahh that Tim...
p.s. Ryker - how about drawing the gang? ;D

Sorry for double post but I have to share this:  It was done by a girl at a site I used to visit called Flip Ze Pages and she goes by ACreativeMess. She made it for me and I just fell in LOVE. I know it looks plain and everything but I thought she was really good at graphics. I just bascially threw a huge list of pictures at her and said do what you want with it and she did. I think people who can do that kind of stuff are really talented. |
