I never out-lined any of my stories and I haven't update in months... But I don't plan on leaving them to hang around endlessly except maybe my longest one, I'm so lost on where to go. I started it off without really thinking, but now I KNOW (or want to believe I know) how I want to end it, but I've realized that I have absolutely no idea on how to reach that ending since it involves the Vietnam War and I know nothing about those kinds of things.
Nowadays, I don't "format" per se, but I do write them and show them around before publishing so I guess that counts as pre-planning...
